In 2007 the Hochkeilhaus is celebrating it’s 150th summer of having an alpine pasture and it’s 150th winter being a renomated skiing resort. Midst of the untouched nature this place has a lot to offer during both parts of the year.

In the summer season:
We have private sporting facilities, an adventurous mountain river, a litttle zoo in which the cute animals can be stroked and of course a playground for the kids! You can also enjoy the beautiful alpine flora and visit one of the many day trip destinations! Our place is the perfect starting point for relaxing walks, more demanding hikes aswell as professional mountain and climbing tours.
Feel like you need a bit more action? How about some rafting or paragliding then?

The winter season we are guaranteed to have so much snow, that we can easily do without all the snowmaking machines and artificial snow. We are proud of our “biological snow”!
There are five towlifts directly beside the Hochkeilhaus. And if that shouldn’t be enough for you, there is a free skibus, which takes you to the Mühlbach ski lifts, which are part of the huge Skiresort Amade - and here we are talking about 865 km of pure skiing pleasure!

In winter you can check in the Hochkeilhaus as a pension with either half or full board. In summer there is also the possibility of booking a self-catering holiday. You can easily get here by car or in a coach. We have space for up to 148 guests in our 2-bedrooms - or if you want - more-bedrooms. The comfort and luxuries vary of course. All in all definetly a priceworthy and cosy place to stay!
